What measures do you take for COVID-19?

Customer and farmer’s health comes first, that’s why all produce is handpicked and packed straight to your box following strict hygiene rules. It is mandatory for our staff to wear gloves when packing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept online payments via Visa & Mastercard.

How do I manage my Rescuedbox subscription?

You can manage your subscription under My Account > Subscriptions > View > Suspend/Cancel/Change address. You can change your address, billing address, card details and box size as well. If you suspend your subscription you can re-activate through ‘My Account’ as above. You can only have one active subscription per account.

I am going on holiday can I cancel my next delivery?

That’s the beauty of Rescuedbox. You are in control and can manage your subscription through your account.

Am I in the delivery zone?

We deliver in Nicosia & Limassol. To check if you are in the delivery zone, simply sign up and enter your postcode. If you are not and would like to express an interest, we’d love to hear from you at hello(@)rescuedbox.com

Can I cancel any time?

Rescuedbox is commitment free. You can skip an order, pause for a while and cancel your subscription as long as it’s done before the cut-off.

I haven’t received my delivery, how do I get in contact?

We are sorry to hear this. Rest assured that customer service is at the forefront of what we do and we’ll resolve this as soon as possible. Please get in touch at info(@)rescuedbox.com so we can sort this out for you.

How can I change my card?

To change your card, please cancel the current subscription and select your box and frequency as preferred. On check out, please do not select your saved payment method and instead leave the dropdown list unchecked to say ‘Select your saved payment information’. Click checkout and on the next page you will be asked to add the new card details.

When should I expect my delivery?

To optimise efficiency and keep our routes effective, delivery time will vary depending on your area. We currently deliver every Thursday.

I’ve received produce that I specified I dislike.

Is the produce fresh and organic?

All our produce is fresh as handpicked from the fields however we do not provide organic produce at this moment.

How does Rescuedbox help food waste in Cyprus?

Our mission is to tackle produce waste and rescue 500 tonnes of fresh fruits and veggies by the end of 2022. But we also aim to build a network of like minded people and develop partnerships with organisations to spread our message about food waste and eating healthy.

Do you use recyclable material?

Yes unless the specific fruit or veg is pre-packaged by our farmers in recyclable plastic.

Is the box customisable?

We’re rescuing surplus fruits and veggies that would otherwise end up in landfills. We’re not able to fully customise your Rescuedbox but we want to adjust to your needs and accommodate people with food allergies. To find out what’s in your box this month visit Our boxes

How are our boxes sorted?

We take each week’s surplus as pre-ordered based on our subscription list and sort your boxes locally. Each week we’ll rescue between 5-10 kg depending on the size of the box.
